Position: Estimator

Primary Responsibilities

Review project plans, requirements and specifications

Determine labour and equipment costs and review materials pricing

Assess project risks

Prepare and or review Joint Venture instructions

Prepare bid packages.

Participate in bidding process, coordinating and leading local bidding activities

Project hand over

Experience and Educational Requirements

College diploma or University degree in an engineering or construction management field

A minimum of five years experience as an Estimator in a Heavy Civil Construction field

Tunneling and/or Marine construction is an asset.


Some travel may be required

Advanced Computer Skills and knowledge of Hard Dollar or comparable heavy civil estimating software, CPM scheduling software and AutoCAD are desired

Salary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
