Primary subcontract for the marine & onshore scope associated with the Deep Panuke offshore gas pipeline landfall. The project included a 1,100m trench dredged in heavy till with both land and marine based rock blasting. The shore based transition trench was excavated and the pipeline pulled from the offshore Allsea pipelay vessel ‘Lorelay’ onto shore using a 500 ton Bezemer winch. The entire pipeline was carefully backfilled following the successful pull-in operations.
